The Providence College is a private, koedukationale, Catholic university in the U.S. Providence, the capital of the state of Rhode Iceland. It was founded in 1917.

The sports team of the University, the Providence Friars play in the Big East Conference. The Dunkin ' Donuts Center is a venue for the men's basketball team. Major players in the Friars were, inter alia, Lenny Wilkens, Jimmy Walker and Otis Thorpe.
