Przećmino

Przećmino ( German Prettmin ) is a village in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland. It is the Gmina Kolobrzeg ( Kolberg rural community ).

Geographical location

The village is located in Eastern Pomerania, about 100 kilometers north-east of Szczecin, about 6 kilometers south-west of Kolobrzeg ( Kolberg). South of the village runs the province road 102 that leads to the southwest after Trzebiatów ( Treptow an der Rega ).

Neighboring towns are to the south of the province road Błotnica ( Spie ), in the north Korzystno (Alt Werder ) and on the east by the province road of living space Bezpraw ( Kautz mountain).

History

Near the village of prehistoric remains have been found. From the Stone Age flint hatchets come, from the Bronze Age a Prunkaxt ( Prunkaxt of Prettmin ) and four bronze rings ( Prettminer rings).

The first written mention of the village dates from 1222/1225. At the time, gave the Pomeranian duchesses Miroslawa, widow of Prince Bogusław II, and Ingardis, widow of Duke Casimir II, together with their sons Barnim I and III Wartislaw. the monastery Mogilno the patronage of St. John's Church in Kolberg and the village Pretemyn plus mill. The St. John's Church was the church in the later Old Kolberg, the German city of Kolberg was only founded in the mid-13th century. In 1281 confirmed Hermann von Gleichen, Bishop of Pomerania, the Convention in Mogilno possession.

In 1333 the church patronage of St. John's Church and the possession of the village Prettmin from Mogilno monastery were ceded to the Bishop of Pomerania. The village Prettmin arrived exactly when is not known to the Kolberger cathedral chapter and remained until its dissolution in 1811 in its possession.

The village Prettmin has the form of a settlement anellipse. Around 1780 there were 20 households in Prettmin ( " hearths " ), including 12 farmers and 6 Kossäten. In the 19th century, various courtyards ( " extensions " ) were created on the field Mark of Prettmin, of which but none received an official place names.

1895 was the village railway connection with the breakpoint mirror Prettmin the Kolberger small train.

Before 1945 Prettmin formed a rural community in Kolberg- Körlin the Prussian province of Pomerania.

After 1945 came Prettmin how completely Pomerania to Poland. First, the village came but by the end of the Second World War, for one and a half years under the immediate control of the Soviet army, which offered protection against Polish immigrants. After withdrawal of Soviet troops, the population was replaced by Poland. The place name has been Polonized after Przećmino.
