Przyjaźń, Pomeranian Voivodeship

Przyjaźń ( German Rhein field ) is a village in the powiat Kartuski in the Pomeranian Voivodeship in northern Poland in the Kashubian region. The village is part of the rural community Zukowo.

History

The village Przyjaźń was created under the name Rheinfeld during the 13th century.

The parish church Rheinfeld is one of the oldest in the area. Around the year 1560 the town received a Reformed preacher and the congregation was Protestant. The church bells are from the 1600. In 1731, a first school building was erected.

Traditionally, lived in the Kashubian Kashubian, German and Poland together. The German population was expelled after the Second World War. Today Poland received belonging to the village its present name Przyjaźń.
