Pseudopseudohypoparathyroidism

Under the Pseudopseudohypoparathyreoidismus (pseudo PHP) is defined as the appearance of characteristics of Albright hereditary osteodystrophy without disturbance of the calcium metabolism.

This disease was first described by Albright et al. 1952 described. It is associated with an inactivating mutation in GNAS1 gene encoding the alpha subunit of the G protein, or reduction of the activity or reduction in the concentration of the Gsα protein.
