Psyclon Nine

Psyclon Nine is an American musical group from San Francisco, which was founded in 2000.

Stylistically, she is most likely near the Aggrotech, but also binds several elements, such as the Alternative Metal, a. The group disbanded in 2009 because of Nero Bellums opiate addiction. 2010 was the reunion, since October 2011, the band occurs again.

History

Founded in 2000 Nero Bellum (then under the name Marshall Carnage ) and Josef Heresy, the rock-oriented project Defkon Sodomy under the influence of the band KMFDM and Ministry. After Defkon Sodomy became better known, changed the direction and was strongly influenced by Suicide Commandos Album Mindstrip. They first played two small but successful shows. The first performance took place in Castro Valley as the opening act of CompostFilter. The second appearance ( for the first time under the name of Psyclon Nine ) was a minor festival of the band See Colin Slash, whose frontman, Eric Gottesman was recorded as the third member of the band.

Others

Nero Bellum stated in an interview that rumors would circulate about his alleged Nazi attitude. This he opposed that a member of the band, Eric Mans God, Jew and in his spare time as Chasan was active in a synagogue in Los Angeles. There he had met on a Hebrew prayer that can be heard in Requiem for the Christian Era.

The video clip for the song Parasitic created in collaboration with the Mushroomhead member Thomas Richards. It was filmed by a joint tour in November 2007, in Cleveland.
