PubPsych

PubPsych is a vertical open-access portal for psychology and related disciplines, which is coordinated by the Leibniz - Institute for Psychology Information (ZPID ). It includes references with comprehensive indexing and abstracts for more than 825,000 journal articles, books, book chapters, dissertations, intervention programs, research data as well as psychological and educational tests from all fields of psychology. The focus of the indexed literature is on the European psychology.

Partners

PubPsych is a joint project of different cooperation partners from Europe and the USA. The European cooperation partners include next to the ZPID from Germany, the Institut de l' Information Scientifique et Technique ( INIST -CNRS ) in France, the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC ) in Spain, the National Academic Research and Collaborations Information System ( NARCIS ) in the Netherlands and the National Library of Norway ( NB) in Norway. From the U.S., the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM ) and the Education Resources Information Center (ERIC ) are involved.

The update frequency varies depending on the database, an average come per month added almost 6000 records:

  • Psych Open, PsychData (immediately after the appearance of new records )
  • PSYNDEX, MEDLINE ® (weekly)
  • ERIC, Pascal, NARCIS (monthly)
  • NORART (quarterly)
