Puig Tomir

The Puig Tomir is a 1103 m high mountain in the mountains of Serra de Tramuntana in the Spanish Balearic island of Mallorca. It is located near the pilgrimage town of Lluc in the municipality Escorca.

Routes to the summit

One route begins in the parking lot of Lluc (480 m). From the access road to Lluc from first performs the GR 221 via the refugi son Amer (540 m) to the Coll Pelat ( 690 m) and then to the Coll des Pedregaret (650 m). There the long-distance trail is left and it begins the climb to Tomir. A mountain trail over boulders tongues on a rocky plateau, with two rocky climbs with ropes and are partially secured with rungs. The path to the main summit is marked with cairns and runs north-east across the plateau to the summit pillar. Below the summit located on the eastern slope of the mountain several snow houses.
