Pulau Ujong

Pulau Ujong is the main island of Singapore. Pulau Ujong reached a stretch of 51 km, with a maximum width of about 21 km. The island is at its highest point 176 meters above sea level. On the closest to the street of Malacca island lives a majority of the population of Singapore. The name Pulau Ujong was in the 3rd century AD. first documented in records and probably comes from the language of the indigenous Orang here earlier sound, which described the island as "the last topic of the country" ( Ujong Tanah ).
