Pulled Apart By Horses

Pulled Apart By Horses ( engl. pulled apart by horses ) is a British alternative rock band from Leeds in England. It was founded in late 2007 and released their also called Pulled Apart By Horses debut album on June 21, 2010.

History

After its founding in late 2007, the band on 13 February 2008 was their first appearance at The Pack Horse pub in Leeds, where the band members had beforehand practiced. Soon, an ever-growing fan base and Pulled Apart By Horses evolved received many invitations to greater or lesser appearances. In addition, the band became known for their wild performances, in which band members were injured.

The debut single of the band Meat Balloon was released by Big Scary Monsters Recording Company in October 2008 and made it to number 18 on the indie singles chart in the UK. In January 2009, the band released their second I Punched A Lion In The Throat as single vinyl single.

Almost three years after the founding of the band's self-titled debut album Pulled Apart By Horses was published 21 June 2010 and invited the band Muse, to support them on their UK tour. In June 2011, Pulled Apart By Horses participated in the Southside Festival in Neuhausen ob Eck, Baden-Württemberg part. On June 21, 2011 - exactly one year after the release of the first album - introduced the band on their website a Live At Leeds called album with live recordings of a performance in Leeds free to download. On January 23, 2012 Tough Love the second studio album by the band, was released.
