Punschkrapfen

The Punschkrapfen (also in the diminutive Punschkrapferl ) is an Austrian dessert.

It is a cube ( or cylinder) of sponge cake filled with a mass of jam, rum or punch and chocolate and covered with a pink glaze (so-called punch glaze, as such available in Austria ). Punschkrapferln sometimes serve as leftovers from frumpy become Biskuitteigprodukten, the Inländerrum covers a possible Altgeschmack effectively.
