Pure land
Pure Land (also Buddha field; skt: buddhakshetra; Tib. Sangs rgyas kyi zhing, dag zhing ;净土Chinese, Pinyin jìngtǔ, W.-G. ching- t'u; kor 정토, jeongto; jap净土, iodo. ) is especially in Amitabha Buddhism (also: Pure Land Buddhism) the idea of a non- samsaric existence region in which all the conditions for spiritual practice for the attainment of Buddhahood are considered cheap and great spiritual merit can be accumulated.
