Puroresu

As Puroresu (Japaneseプロレス, short forプロフェッショナル·レスリング, Purofesshonaru resuringu of Engl. Professional Wrestling ) is called the Wrestling from Japan.

The show aspect of this form of wrestling rather small, while the actions in the ring are more reminiscent of Asian martial arts. In Japan Puroresu news from the leagues will be treated in the daily newspapers in the sports section. In most leagues sporting competition takes center stage, while there is (similar to the U.S.) so-called hardcore matches in some minor leagues, where objects such as barbed wire ( barbed -wire matches ), fluorescent or tacks are used. Such struggles but tend to be the exception; in the big leagues, they are not as good as before.

The most famous leagues are New Japan Pro Wrestling, Pro Wrestling NOAH, All Japan Pro Wrestling and Pro Wrestling ZERO1 -MAX (formerly ZERO -ONE ), but there are still dozens more.
