Purple Day

The Purple Day ( Lilatag, violet day) is an international day of remembrance. It should serve to raise awareness of epilepsy and to take people's fear of the sufferers.

History

The Remembrance Day takes place every year on March 26. It was in 2008, launched by the then nine -year-old Cassidy Megan, the self is affected in life to reduce myths and prejudices. On "Purple Day" is called upon to wear purple and clear up in events on epilepsy. On 17 February 2012, the "Purple Day" in Canada was officially recognized by the "Purple Day Act".
