Paul Shaffer

Paul Allen Wood " Shiv " Shaffer ( born November 28, 1949 in Fort William, Canada ) is a Canadian keyboardist, music producer and composer.

Life

He played with many international stars, including Eric Clapton, Gloria Estefan, Justin Timberlake, and more. In 1985, he was the band leader at the Live Aid festival. Since 1982 he leads the band of the show hosted by David Letterman Late Night shows. He composed the music for the film Blues Brothers 2000, playing in a small supporting role. Likewise, he also had another small appearances in films and series such as This is Spinal Tap, Ed - The Bowling lawyer and How I Met Your Mother ( Season 8, Episode 175 ).
