The University Busan ( 부산 대학교 Kor., Busan Daehakgyo; . Engl Pusan ​​National University ( PNU) ) is one of the leading universities in South Korea. It was founded in March 1946, three months before the founding of the University of Seoul in Busan, the second largest city in South Korea. The original name of the university was National University Busan ( 국립 부산 대학교 ). Since its inception, the college is one of the best in South Korea. The University is divided according to Anglo-Saxon model in colleges and postgraduate schools. The main campus is located in Busan, in addition there are two other campuses in Miryang and Yangsan.

Incidents

On February 18, 2014 ten people were killed in the semester celebration. The roof collapse occurred under heavy snow load, in the auditorium of Manua Ocean Resort in Gyeongju. To date the disaster celebrated around 500 freshmen students, their study start.
