Putuo District, Zhoushan

The municipality Putuo (Chinese普陀 区, pinyin Pǔtuó Qū ) is a municipality of the prefecture-level city of Zhoushan in southeast China's Zhejiang Province. In 2002, he counted 320,000 inhabitants.

Wooden shipbuilding

The traditional wooden shipbuilding of Putuo stands together mt from the Xinghua兴化 市in Jiangsu Province on the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of the People's Republic of China ( Nr.920 ).
