Kanjobal, also Q'anjob'al, is a Mayan language which is mainly spoken by about 140000-200000 indigenous people, the same Q'anjob'al on the western plateau of Guatemala.

At the 2002 census in Guatemala reported 139 830 people (1.4%) Q'anjob'al as their native language; 159 030 persons ( 1.4%) described themselves as Q'anjob'al. The Kanjobal spokesman focus on three municipios in the department of Huehuetenango: Santa Eulalia ( Jolom Konob ), San Juan Ixcoy ( Yich K'ox ), San Pedro Soloma ( Tz'uluma ' ) y Santa Cruz Barillas ( Yal MOTX ).

As more languages ​​of the tribal language Q'anjob'al Chuj, Acateco, Jakalteco and Tojolabal be considered.
