Qatar Investment Authority
Qatar Holding LLC, shortly Qatar Holding ( QH ) is an investment company of the Emirate of Qatar. She is a daughter of the Qatar Investment Authority and is responsible for strategic and direct investments to be with the vision of a world-class investment company and also a partner of choice for investors of other shareholders.
International Investments
The investments of Qatar Holding are long term in the rule. Among other things, it has been made following international investments:
- London Stock Exchange: 20% ( since September 2007)
- Barclays: 6.76% (December 2010)
- Porsche SE: 10% ordinary shares ( since August 2009)
- Volkswagen AG: around 17% of ordinary shares (as of December 2009)
- Harrods Group: Takeover (May 2010)
- Hochtief: 9.1% (since December 2010)
- Xstrata plc: almost 11% (since June 2012)
- Lagardère: almost 13 % ( French media company )
