Quadro Nuevo

Quadro Nuevo is a 1996 based acoustic quartet, which operates in the field of world music and jazz.

History

In January 1996, the quartet was founded. The style of music is described by the band as a mixture of (quote Quadro Nuevo ) "Tango, Valse Musette, Flamenco, lovingly dusted film music and an Italy almost lost ." The cast includes guitarist Robert Wolf, the saxophonist Mulo Francel, bassist DD Lowka and accordionist Andreas Hinterseher who replaced since Canzone della Strada (2002) Heinz- Ludger Jeromin. The quartet played at numerous renowned festivals such as the Montreal Jazz Festival, the International Jazz Week Burghausen, the Rheingau Music Festival, the Merano Music Festival, the Jazz Festival Saalfelden, Palatia jazz and the Quebec Festival.

Worldwide, the band played so far around 1,500 concerts.

In 2008 she provided the soundtrack to the documentary film Two half- life are not a whole Servet Ahmet Golbol.

Since November 2008, the guitarist Robert Wolf is a paraplegic from the neck down after a traffic accident with the band bus. Since then, the harpist Evelyn Huber plays in the group has played previously for many years with Mulo Francel as a duo.
