The Gypsies are found near heaven (title in the GDR ), published in the Federal Republic of Germany under the title: When the Gypsies (orig. Tabor uchodit w nebo, Russian Табор уходит в небо, translated as The camp goes to heaven) is a 1975 Soviet film rotated. The Moldovans Emil Loteanu wrote the screenplay and directed the film, which earlier story Makar Tschudra was free after Maxim Gorky.

The film premiered in the GDR on 28 October 1977, on 18 November 1977 in the Federal Republic of Germany. In March 2001 there was a re-release.

Action

Early 20th century travels the gypsy camp on the plains of Bessarabia, on the edge of the Austro -Hungarian monarchy. The film is a tragic love story between the gypsy girl Radda and the horse thief Loiko.
