Cross- More is a place and a civil parish in Lancashire, England. The civil parish, which is just 5 km east of Lancaster has 521 inhabitants ( 2001). More cross lies outside the historic Forest of Bowland but within the Area of ​​Outstanding Natural Beauty of the Forest of Bowland.

In the 18th century and 1970, Roman pottery kilns and pottery shards were found in the area of cross- More, indicating a Roman settlement.

On the western slope of the Clougha Pike, which lies in the east of the village, were millstones for rotary hand mills (also called Quern ) degraded to a still visible quarry.

The River Conder flows through cross- More and there are two water mills in this area.

North of the village cross- More is the parish church of St Peter isolated. The church was built in 1860 by architect Edward Graham Paley on behalf of William Garnett, owner of transverse More Park Hall. The church is now a listed building and is managed by English Heritage as a Grade II listed building.
