Querqueville

Querqueville is a commune with 5136 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Manche in Basse-Normandie region. It is located in Cherbourg- Octeville, whose fortifications they heard as the westernmost point.

The small chapel of Saint Germanus ( Chapelle Saint- Germain ) is surmounted by a tower from the 17th century. With her cloverleaf-shaped floor plan is the church of the early Roman- Christian remains on the Cotentin Peninsula.

Querqueville is the partner village of Allmendingen in the German state of Baden- Württemberg.
