Quickborn-Preis
The Quick Born Prize (nds: Quick Born- Pries ) is an award for special achievements in the field of Low German language, literature and folklore research.
History
The result is the award in 1962 and was subsequently awarded until 1984 regularly.
Since 1992, the Quick Born- again price is awarded every two years by the Quickborn Association for Low German language and literature in eV Quick Born in Hamburg. Since 2006, the prize is awarded in collaboration with the Lower Saxony Savings Bank Foundation, which also provides the prize money of € 2,000.
