Quiet Party

A Quiet Party (or silence Party ) is a party, in a non-spoken. Instead, nonverbal communication, flirt and ordered using pencil and paper.

The concept was developed by the artist Paul Rebhan and musician Tony Noe in New York City, when they could not talk to each other due to loud ambient noise.

The first Quiet Party, was organized in October 2002 in New York City, and later in many other cities, such as San Francisco, Washington, DC, Houston, Paris, London, Berlin, Barcelona and Beijing.

Similar unorthodox activities are smart mobs, flash mobs and cuddle parties.
