Quirinus Harder
Quirinus Harder ( * 1801, † 1880) was a Dutch architect. He was the main designer of the structural service of the Dutch Maritime Authority ( Nederlandse Loodswezen ) and constructed on their behalf several lighthouses. The designed Harder lighthouses were almost all made of cast iron, its use was introduced in Leuchtturmbau in the Netherlands through him. Many of them are now under monument protection.
