Rýchlostná cesta R6 is a highway in north-western Slovakia. It currently consists of a two-lane road that connects the DIAĽNICA D1 at Beluša with the city Púchov. This, however, is actually as R6 dedicated only from the node to the junction Beluša Beluša / Dolné Kočkovce (2.7 km), the route Beluša / Dolné Kočkovce - Púchov (4.8 miles) dedicated only state road I/49A because they among others, two level crossings has same.

The plan is ongoing construction to the Czech border, where the state highway route is matched to the expressway standard. At the border crossing Lysa pod Makytou Lideč - Horni the road is as Rychlostní silnice 49 ( R49 ) direction Zlín and Hulin continue. Taken together, the two highways are a kind of substitute for never running route of the old Czechoslovak D1 highway from Brno to Trenčín.
