Rábida Island

Rabida is one of the Galápagos Islands. The five -square-mile island that is inhabited by flamingos, sea lions, pelicans, boobies, pintails and finches located, 4.3 km south of the island of San Salvador. The iron oxide-containing volcanic slag stained the sand of the island dark red.
The island was also known as Jervis Island, named after the British Admiral John Jervis, Earl of St Vincent ( 1735-1823 ). In Ecuador, the island of Isla Rabida is called.
Are visited by tourists often the salt water lagoon and sandy beaches in the north of the island.
