Rachel Brown

Rachel Laura Brown Finnis ( born July 2, 1980 in Burnley as Rachel Laura Brown) is an English footballer. The goalkeeper plays for the English club Everton and the England national team, whose record goalkeeper she is.

Brown has matured as a football student in the U.S., she has played for the Panthers University of Pittsburgh, where she was the best goalkeeper of the Eastern Conference regular basis.

A highlight of her career was the participation in the FA Women's Cup final with 15 years with Liverpool.

Brown played for the English women's national team in all qualifying matches for the participation in the World Cup 2007.

In 2009, she reached the final of the European Championship with England, in which they defeated Germany 2:6.

Even if they no longer came into use in 2011, but it was nominated for the 2011 World Cup, arrived there but not used.

Brown was also in the Team GB squad which took part in the Olympic Games in London. Although it was July 19, 2012 in a friendly against Sweden for use, but not at the Olympic Games where her team was eliminated in the quarter- final against Canada.

Private

She is married to professional golfer Ian Finnis.
