Rachel Howard (footballer)

Rachel Howard ( born November 30, 1977 in Wellington ) is a New Zealand soccer player. The goalkeeper plays since 2004 for the German team TSV Crailsheim.

Career

Howard grew up in the nordneuseeländischen Napier City and played for various local clubs. After studying in Auckland, she worked as a product manager for the German sportswear manufacturer Adidas. In 2004, be an offer to work in the Adidas headquarters in Herzogenaurach. She has been responsible for the development of training and competition clothing of the English Premier League clubs Chelsea, Liverpool and Newcastle United. At the same time, she joined the German second division club TSV Crailsheim, with which they ascended to the Bundesliga in 2006. With the New Zealand national team, she participated in the 2007 World Championships. However, New Zealand retired after three defeats in the group stage prematurely.
