Racovița, Sibiu

Racoviţă ( Rakowitz German, Hungarian Oltrákovica ) is a municipality in the region of Transylvania, in Sibiu County, Romania.

The town is located 27 km southeast Racoviţă of Sibiu ( Hermannstadt) and six kilometers south of Avrig ( Freck ). Racoviţă is the seat of local government for this village as well as for Sebesu de Sus (Upper Schewesch ).
