Radek Černý

Radek Černý ( born February 18, 1974 in Prague) is a Czech football player on the goalkeeper position.

Černý began his career at Slavia Prague, between 1993 and 1995 he was on loan at SK České Budějovice and Tatran Poštorná. His military service, he graduated in 1995/96 at Union Cheb. He then returned to Slavia, but spent two years only the number two behind January Stejskal. It was not until 1998/99, he passed Stejskal. After that, he was a long time regular keeper at Slavia and also came to three inserts in the Czech national team.

In early 2005 he was on loan from Slavia at Tottenham Hotspur where he is only a substitute for the English goalkeeper Paul Robinson. In two seasons, he was only three inserts in the jersey of the Hotspurs. In the summer of 2006, he was for two more years committed by the London club. In the season 2006/ 07 he had no use in the Premier League, unlike 2007/08.

In May 2008, Černý signed a two year contract from 1 July 2008 at the Queens Park Rangers and was there at first -choice goalkeeper
