The Radener lake is located in the district of Rostock within the municipal area of Lalendorf in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern ( Germany ) and is located approximately 17 kilometers east of Güstrow and about seven kilometers west of Teterow. South of the lake is the eponymous place Raden. The lake has a length of approximately 2.1 kilometers and a width of 800 meters. The oval, less-structured water is in a shallow marshy valley. The lake is very shallow and surrounded by a belt of reeds. There are no official swimming areas.
