Radi Nedelchev

Radi Nedeltschew (Bulgarian Ради Неделчев; * 1938 in Ezerche in Russian; † 1 November 2007) is a Bulgarian painter of naïve art. His paintings depict mostly landscapes, village life and festivals dar. figuratively

Life

In his paintings, mainly from the 1970s and 1980s, he is one of the best known representatives of the " Gabrovo Humorsymbolismus ".

Nedeltschew was awarded the Order of Cyril and Methodius first class, the highest award for arts and culture in Bulgaria.
