Radical Entertainment
Radical Entertainment Inc. is a Canadian developer of computer games based in Vancouver. The company was founded in 1991. Later it was acquired by Sierra Entertainment. According to the magazine " MacLean's Magazine, " the company ranks among the top 100 employers in Canada.
The most successful games of the company are Scarface: The World Is Yours ( 2 million copies sold ) and Crash of the Titans (over 1 million copies sold ).
Activision announced in February 2010 that Radical Entertainment has to accept cuts.
On June 29, 2012, Activision announced that it would lay off at Radical Entertainment, except for a small core team, all employees. In addition, the studio will produce no more games in the future, which probably means the end for the traditional studio.
