Radio 1 (Belgium)

Radio 1 ( één ) is a radio station of public broadcaster Vlaamse Radio -en Televisieomroep (VRT ) in the Flemish Community. Seat of the transmitter is Schaerbeek / Schaerbeek in Brussels.

Radio 1 brings a mix of informative and entertaining program and does not follow all the chart hits. Radio 1 sends next message also humor, tips and tricks. The choice of music is made up of many genres and areas, regions and styles.

The station is funded primarily through fees. The light emitted in the Dutch language program includes local, regional and international news, discussions, cultural news and consumer information. The music selection takes into account Belgian titles and pop music from the English and other European language areas, to come genres such as world music, blues, soul and pop music from the 1960s to the 1990s.
