Radio Maria

Radio Maria is a religious radio station from Italy, was founded in 1983 as a parish radio in Erba ( Como Province ).

In 1987, founded the " Association Radio Maria " (Association of Radio Maria). Since 1990, the Catholic station covers all regions of Italy. In other countries offshoot were founded, which were summarized in the " Famiglia mondiale di Radio Maria " in 1998.

Reception

Currently, Radio Maria is spread over a large area in Italy through an extensive network of FM and DVB- T channels, as well as throughout Europe via digital satellite ( Eutelsat Hotbird ) and worldwide via live stream. The mean daily range is in Italy 1,765,000 listeners (1st semester 2008).

About near the border transmission facilities to Austria you can receive the program in parts of Tyrol, East Tyrol and Carinthia.
