Radio mast Berlin-Olympiastadium

The transmitter Olympic Stadium was a 1951 erected and dismantled in July 2005 guyed mast for mobile and FM broadcasting in Berlin, close to Berlin's Olympic Stadium.

The executed in steel truss design transmission tower had a height of 180.7 meters and a square cross section of two meters by two meters. The dismantling in July 2005 by helicopter and special crane had become necessary because the mast had no function, but required costly maintenance.
