Ragnar Persenius

Ragnar Persenius (* June 27, 1952 in Uppsala ) is a bishop of the Lutheran Church of Sweden.

Life

After school Persenius studied theology. Since 1973 Persenius 's Lutheran pastor, Uppsala. 1988 succeeded Persenius the theological doctorate in Lund with a treatise on Kyrkans identitet. En study i kyrkotänkandets profile ring inom Svenska kyrkan i ekumeniskt of perspective 1937-52. Since 2000 Persenius bishop in the diocese of Uppsala, where Anders is Wejryd Lutheran archbishop.
