Rainer Bieli

Career

He began his career in his native Kestenholz, FC Kesten wood. Although he is left-footed player, but is considered both feet, his former position on the storm. With 74 missions, he held the national record at National Games in the young country selections (two of them at the U21 European Championship in 2002 against England and Italy ), but its use in the senior team was denied him.

Bieli played at FC Solothurn ( first league), then moved to Grasshoppers Zurich (NLA ), FC Baden (NLB), Neuchâtel Xamax (NLA ), FC St. Gallen ( NLA ) and FC Aarau ( NLA, now Super League). In the second half of the season 2006/ 07 he moved free transfer back to Neuchâtel Xamax in the Challenge League, after he was released in January 2007 at FC Aarau. With this team he reached the rise, but was not renewed his contract. In the 2007/ 08 season he moved to FC Concordia Basel in the Challenge League. After Concordia Basel has voluntarily waived the Challenge League license, he moved to the 2009/10 season for FC Winterthur. In July 2011 Bieli returned to FC Baden.
