Rakamaz

Rakamaz ( German: Racker moss ) is a town in Szabolcs- Szatmár -Bereg county in Hungary.

The village is situated at the confluence of the Tisza in Bodrog, 32 km north- west of the capital Combine Nyíregyháza, near the town of Tokaj. It is one of the oldest settlements of the Combine Szabolcs -Szatmár -Bereg.

Churches

The parish church of the village has a church register and religious books dating back to 1729. The Kalvarienkirche is still considered a pilgrimage church. In it, both Roman Catholic and Greek Orthodox religious services are held.
