Ralf Jaros

Ralf Jaros ( born December 13, 1965 in Dusseldorf ) is a former German track and field athlete. At a height of 1.93 m his competition weight was 85 kg.

Ralf Jaros set 30 June 1991 as part of the European Cup with a German record 17.66 meters in the triple jump at the also the world champion of 1999, Charles Friedek, could not break.

With 18 years Ralf Jaros was at the Olympic Games in 1984 his international debut, but could not get as 17th in qualifying. In the indoor season, 1985, he was with 16,78 m fourth at the European Championships and 16.61 m in sixth at the World Indoor games.

Due to injury, missing Jaros after several years, but was able to catch in ninth in the world championships in 1991 world leaders. At the Olympic Games in 1992, he failed in 13th just in qualifying. The world championships 1993 he finished in fourth place with 17.34 m.
