Ramón Bayeu
Ramón y Bayeu Subías (* 1746 in Zaragoza, † March 1, 1793 in Aranjuez) was a Spanish painter.
He was the brother of the painter Francisco Bayeu, with whom he has collaborated, and the painter Manuel Bayeu. He won an award at the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando in Madrid and then traveled to Italy.
He painted frescoes for the Basilica de Nuestra Señora del Pilar, worked for the royal tapestry factory, for which he painted cardboard as templates ( with genre scenes that are in the Prado today ), and produced engravings after famous paintings.
Francisco Goya was his brother, with whom he worked also on several occasions.
