Ramon Mitra, Jr.
Ramon Monching Villarosa Mitra, Jr. ( born February 4, 1928 in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, † March 20, 2000 in Makati City, Metro Manila ) was a Filipino politician and pro-democracy activist at the time of the dictator Ferdinand Marcos. From 1987 to 1992 he was Speaker of the Philippine House of Representatives.
He died in 2000 of liver cancer.
