Rancheria River (Yukon)

BW

The Rancheria River is a right tributary of the Liard River in the extreme south of the Canadian Yukon Territory.

The Rancheria River has its origin in the Northwind Lakes in the northern Cassiar Mountains. He initially flows in a southerly direction, near the North American Continental Divide to Daughney Lake, which he passes through. It then turns eastward and flows north of the province of British Columbia border. The Yukon Highway 1 (Alaska Highway) between Swift River and Watson Lake extends over a distance of 55 km along the river's northern bank. The most important tributary, the Little Rancheria River, hits from the south of the river. The Rancheria River finally flows 20 km northwest of Watson Lake in the Liard River.

The Rancheria River is used by kayakers and canoeists to water sports.
