Þrándarjökull

The Þrándarjökull is a small glacier shield in eastern Iceland.

It lies about 20 km east of the Vatnajökull and 1236 m high with an area of 22 km ².

For him the mountain Sunnutindur protrudes ( 1137 m).

Streams of its slopes feed the rivers Geithellnaá and in the north the Hamarsá.
