Rapid River (Churchill River)

BW

Rapid River is a right tributary of the Churchill River in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan.

It forms the outlet from Lac la Ronge. Here lies the Lac la Ronge Dam, which regulates the amount of water of the Rapid River. It flows through the Iskwatikan Lake. Then he overcomes one of the highest waterfalls in Saskatchewan, the 10 m high Nistowiak Falls, and finally empties into the Nistowiak Lake, which is drained by the Churchill River.
