Ravindra Svarupa Dasa

Ravindra Svarupa Dasa ( William H. Deadwyler, born July 27, 1947) is an American religious scholar. He studied philosophy at the University of Pennsylvania and Religious Studies at Temple University, where he earned a doctorate in religious studies. He is the author of numerous essays on Vaishnava theology.

Ravindra Svarupa Dasa joined in 1971 by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON ) in the case. In the same year A. C. initiated him Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, founder of ISKCON, in the tradition of Gaudiya Vaishnavism - one. Since 1987 he is a member of the Governing Body Commission (GBC ), the governing body of ISKCON. He is initiating spiritual master in the disciplic succession of the Gaudiya Vaishnavism -.
