Ray Jones (footballer born 1988)
Barry Raymond "Ray" Jones ( born August 28, 1988 in Newham, London, † August 25 2007 in East Ham, London ) was an English professional footballer. He played for Queens Park Rangers ( " QPR " ) and was a member of the English Under-19 national soccer team.
In April 2006, Jones was given as a 17 -year-old made his debut with the English second division club QPR; he was able to record in his first season as a professional five goals.
Ray Jones died three days before his 19th birthday in a road accident on 25 August 2007 in London. His vehicle collided with a bus. Besides Jones were still four people in the car, two of which were also killed.
