Ray Mears

Raymond " Ray" Paul Mears ( born February 7, 1964 in Kenley, Greater London ) is a British Survival trainer, author and filmmaker.

Life

Ray Mears grew up among others in the North Downs and has always been interested in the field Survivalismus, wilderness survival and the survival techniques of indigenous peoples. He already made ​​off with 19 years with his company Woodlore independently organized Survival Camps and published in 1990 with The Survival Handbook his first counselor. He had his first TV appearances in 1993 in the BBC Two series tracks.
