Raymond Pierre

Raymond Pierre ( born September 19, 1967) is a retired American sprinter who specialized in the 400 -meter run.

In 1987 he won the bronze medal at the Universiade in Zagreb and won at the Pan American Games in Indianapolis, both in individual competition as well as in the 4 x 400 - meter relay. At the World Athletics Championships in Rome, he was in the lead part of the U.S. relay team that eventually won gold.

Starting for the Baylor University In 1989 he became NCAA champions.

At the World Indoor Championships in 1991 in Seville he brought to the U.S. 4 x 400 - meter relay silver.
